A friend recently told me they were thinking about moving but they didn’t know where. My response was unless you’re running TO something that you’re feeling called to, you’re running FROM something with no direction. And that does not always result in a positive outcome, certainly not quickly or easily. But, we did that, in 2022. When we quit our jobs and set off to backpack SE Asia for 6 months. It wasn’t about going there at first, it started with an intense need to just not be where we were. But we did FIND our direction while on that trip. SO all that to say, go with your gut. Follow your intuition. It’s usually right even if it doesn’t have a plan. Just make sure your heart is in it. And we love nothing more than experiencing our little loves’ first experiences with them. Pretty sure we’re the most proud Aunt and Uncle in the Tampa Bay Area 😅 and we can not wait to start doing these activities with our little one when she comes later this year! The first family camping trip went down without a hitch thanks to Mary’s Fish Camp right next to Weeki Wachee Springs where the mermaids live! The primitive camp sites were well equipped with plenty of room, fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. While the grounds included full bathrooms, kids playground, kayak and boat rentals, and fishing gear! We met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed the camp hosts.
